Scribbles in the Sand

The little one in us all
At feats of day and nights of dream
Awakens in the soul
A curious heart and bloody lip
Tasted fresh, with teeth pressed preserved
A sense of being from which to hang
The little one in us all

The One Another

Warms a heart and leaves a breath
But with no place remains always
A part that is not me
And a part that is not you
The space between you and I
Within I live each day as the other
